As of 1 July 2020, the Norwegian Penal Code (Nw. straffeloven) has been amended in order to expand the reach of Norwegian anti-corruption provisions on corruption committed abroad. In a report published today on the prevention of corruption of parliamentarians, judges and prosecutors in Monaco, GRECO, the Council of Europe’s anti-corruption body, regrets the low level of implementation of its recommendations (two out of sixteen).

For six months of 2019, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) gave notices of suspicion to 84 persons. Indictments as of 76 people were sent to court. These figures indicate that the second half of 2019 was a period of intensification of NABU and SAPO work. It also indicates the transformation of the achievements of previous years into results. This was stated by NABU Director Artem Sytnyk and SAPO Head Nazar Kholodnitskiy at the briefing “Presentation of the Report on the NABU and SAPO results during the second half of 2019” on February 7, 2020.

16-20 December 2019 - The world's primary anti-corruption conference was held in Abu Dhabi with a call to advance efforts to prevent and combat corruption to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The Convention of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, with 186 parties, is the only legally binding universal anti-corruption instrument. Every two years, the States parties to the Convention meet, with the ninth session scheduled to take place in 2021 in Egypt.

27 December 2019 came into force Federal law N 432-FZ which detailing  The Federal law "On combating Corruption" regarding regulation list of the restrictions persons who occupied positions of state (municipal) posts or state (municipal) employees.

Preparation and introduction system of anticorruption acts was begun at the same time with beginning of conduct huge administrative reform in Russia which was aimed to optimization system of public administration.

The Ministry of Labour of the Russian Federation issued new anti-corruption guidelines for companies, namely: "Measures for Preventing Corruption at Organizations", "Recommendations on the Procedure for Assessing Corruption Risks at Organizations", and "Memorandum on Establishing the Duties of Employees for Preventing Corruption, Employee Liability, and Incentive Programs".
